NEWS FROM IRCA

On 16 May 2006 the International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA) and RABQSA International (RABQSA), signed a Bi-lateral Agreement for the mutual recognition of training and examination certificates.

Mutual recognition is based on respective peer evaluation. Phase I of the peer evaluation process has been completed, and IRCA is pleased to advise that the following IRCA Training Courses will be recognised by RABQSA for the purposes of RABQSA auditor certification as detailed in the following table:

Incorporation of the RABQSA and IRCA Logos into Training Organisation Material.

The use of the RABQSA logo and the related statement is discretionary. Where a Training Organisation elects to note IRCA and RABQSA mutual recognition on training documents, and related marketing and administrative material, the following notation is to be used:

 

“This training course and certificate of attainment is recognised by RABQSA as meeting the requirement for RABQSA certification to [insert type of certification]”


Note: Under no circumstances is the notation to be amended, altered or placed out of context.

The rules for use for the IRCA logo for IRCA Training Organizations remain as per the IRCA criteria.

NEWS FROM US!

Later in the year we will use AFAQ AFNOR International as our brand name instead of AFAQ-ETA. It will be business as usual of course! A new brochure is being produced for our power open learning courses, and will be branded as AFAQ AFNOR International.

In the next few months we expect to have an IRCA registered OHSAS 3 day course. It will be very relevant to Safety Managers, Quality Managers, Internal Audit Staff and professional auditors.
