Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Auditor Conversion Course (IRCA Approved)

Environmental management systems (EMS) have become an essential part of the strategy for business improvement.  ISO 14001 and EMAS provide requirements for establishing the EMS of an organisation.  The emergence of these standards has created the need for professional personnel within the business with the capability to assess the EMS impartially and effectively. External certification of those systems by accredited certification bodies provides a public statement of the organisation’s policy for the environment and its implementation of appropriate controls to limit its impacts. 

The aim of this IRCA course is to enable auditors of other management systems (QMS, OHSAS etc) to transfer their skills to auditing EMS systems to ISO 14001.

Foundation Course in Environmental Auditing (IEMA Approved)

Compliance with environmental legislation is a key concern for many organisations. Auditor training in environmental management systems enables course participants to develop and implement a policy for their company. It can also be used to develop understanding of environmental management applied to modern business.

This 5-day course provides an internationally recognised qualification, which is a requirement to register as an EMS Auditor or Lead EMS Auditor under the IEMA scheme.
